Nolan McCants is founder and senior pastor of Harvest Church Plainfield. He is a down to earth, practical teacher who emphasis is on the role of the church in the earth today.

He is a frequent lecturer on the subject of leadership in the church and is the author of "Mobilization of the Church" , and most recently, the first in a series of books called Leadership Essentials.

Prior to full-time ministry, he was founding president and CEO of Renaissance Communications, a full-service public relations firm which handled such clients as Nordstrom, the 7-Up Company and the Minority Business Development Committee.

Pastor McCants has studied at Columbia College, Chicago and the Moody Bible Institute. He and his wife of over two decades, Gloria, have three children.
