Our Creed
We believe...
- The Bible to be the inerrant, inspired and infallible Word of God
- God is eternally manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, was conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for the atonement of our sins, was bodily resurrected and ascended back to heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father interceding for His Church
- Salvation is a free gift paid by the shed blood of Jesus Christ alone and cannot be earned by our good works. The evidence of true Christian conversion is a progressive display of Christ-like characteristics and a productive Christian life.
- The baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues is freely imparted by faith to supernaturally empower and aid believers in accomplishing the purposes of God. He is our teacher, comforter and guide.
- The gifts of the Holy Spirit, as outlined in scripture, are valid and fully operative today.
- The present day ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers is for: perfecting the Christian; the work of the ministry; and the edification of the body of Christ.
