Luke 4:18-19
(NKJV)
Jesus declared, "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed
Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the
brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to
the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the
acceptable year of the LORD."
Mat 8:14-17 (NKJV)
Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He
saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever. So He touched her hand, and
the fever left her. And she arose and served them. When evening had come,
they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the
spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took
my infirmities And bore my sicknesses."

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And I will forget not all His benefits: Who
forgives all my iniquities, Who heals all my diseases, Who redeems my life
from destruction, Who crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who
